Who we are
The Interior Exchange is operated by Guy Radford in the United Kingdom. For data-protection purposes, The Interior Exchange is the controller of the personal information collected through this website.
Privacy enquiries can be sent to hello@theinteriorexchange.co.uk.
Information we collect
When you register an interest, we may collect your name, role, company or studio, email address, telephone number, location, website, social-media or portfolio links, professional category and the information you choose to provide about your work or business.
Please do not include sensitive personal information in the free-text fields.
Why we use your information
We use registration information to manage the founding network, understand interest in The Interior Exchange, assess potential membership or partnership fit, respond to enquiries and contact you about relevant next steps.
Our lawful basis for managing a registration is our legitimate interest in developing and operating The Interior Exchange and responding to people who have asked to participate. Where you separately choose to receive launch news and occasional updates, we rely on your consent.
Marketing choices
Marketing permission is optional and is not required to register your interest. You can withdraw consent or object to direct marketing at any time by emailing us. Withdrawing marketing consent will not remove your founding-network registration unless you also ask us to delete it.
How we keep information secure
Registration details are submitted over an encrypted connection and stored in protected platform-backed systems. Access is restricted to authorised persons who need the information for the purposes described in this notice. We use appropriate technical and organisational measures designed to protect information against unauthorised access, loss, misuse or alteration.
No online service can promise absolute security, but we review our safeguards as the business and platform develop.
Who we share information with
We do not sell personal information. We may use carefully selected hosting, database, email or professional-service providers that process information for us under appropriate obligations. We may also disclose information when required by law or to protect legal rights.
International processing
Some technology providers may process information outside the United Kingdom. Where this happens, we will use an appropriate legal safeguard required by UK data-protection law.
How long we keep it
Founding-network registrations will normally be reviewed or deleted within 24 months of the last meaningful contact, unless you join the launched service, ask us to retain your details, or we need to keep limited information for legal or suppression-list purposes.
Your rights
Depending on the circumstances, you may have rights to access, correct, erase or restrict your personal information, receive a portable copy, object to processing and withdraw consent. To exercise a right, contact hello@theinteriorexchange.co.uk. We may need to verify your identity before acting.
You can also complain to the UK Information Commissioner’s Office at ico.org.uk.
Cookies and changes
The current registration pages do not use non-essential advertising cookies. If analytics or other non-essential technologies are introduced, we will update our information and consent choices. We may revise this notice as the service develops; the latest version and update date will remain on this page.
